Admission process

To apply to Prevailing Faith Christian Academy, we ask you to prepare a variety of materials that will help us assess your qualifications. Remember, all materials can be submitted online, in-person or fax by the application deadlines. The following serves as a preview of what you need to prepare.

Student Eligibility

Families must register online, in-person or by fax to Prevailing Faith Christian Academy by the deadline included in their award letter. Families who don’t register with PFCA by the deadline will lose their Scholarship award.

Students must bring certain eligibility proof in order to participate in the Scholarship program.

+ Proof of Louisiana residency

+ Household income that does not exceed 250% of the federal poverty guidelines

+ Either entering kindergarten or enrolled in a public school with a C, D, F, or T grade on both October 1 and February 1 of the current school year or a continuing Scholarship student

+ Homeschool students and students in grades K-12 who currently attend nonpublic schools are not eligible.


Income Eligibility Documentation

If the parent participates in any one of the programs below, the parent can bring evidence that they participate in the program.

+ Placement form from DCFS in the case of foster children

+ Louisiana Purchase Card

+ SNAP Benefits

+ Social Security Benefits

If the parent does not participate in any of the programs listed above, the parent will need to bring proof of income for every income-earning member of their household.
